Suzy joined the Burns Estate Planning & Wealth Advisors team in February of 2026. Suzy brings more than six years of experience providing high-level executive and operational support in fast-paced, high-trust environments. Most recently, she served as a Business Support Assistant with City Facilities Management where she partnered closely with senior leadership to manage complex calendars, coordinate multi-site operations, oversee vendor relationships, and support financial reporting and expense reconciliation. Her ability to anticipate needs, streamline workflows, and deliver audit-ready financial documentation demonstrates a strong foundation in organization, accuracy, and client service.
Earlier in her career, Suzy held the role of Escrow Operations Specialist with Triad Financial Services, where she maintained confidential financial records, ensured regulatory compliance, and acted as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve time-sensitive account matters. Her precision, reliability, and commitment to follow-through were hallmarks of her success in a deadline-driven environment.
Suzy’s skill set includes executive calendar and travel management, financial reporting and reconciliation, document control, and operational workflow optimization. She is proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, is a Florida Notary Public, and is bilingual in English and Spanish-further enhancing the client support capabilities of the Jacksonville team. In her free time Suzy enjoys spending time with her family.
